    To configure your 3Com SuperStack switch for SNMP, you need to 
access it via telnet or the serial console and ensure that SNMP is 
enabled. SNMP configuration is NOT available via the 3Com web interface. 
You will then  need to set the community names for each of the access 
levels (if the switch firmware supports this).
You may also need to update the switch firmware to gain access to this 
option.
