[mrtg] Automating adding a new host...

hello,

i've finally mastered cfgmaker and templates. it's now very easy for
me to add a new host. i have a script that runs cfgmaker. so i just
add the new host name to that script, run it, and cfgmaker creates a
new .cfg file. works perfectly.

problem is, there's another two steps. i then have to run indexmaker
to create index files for the new host (i create daily and weekly
pages). i then have to edit my navigation menu to include the new
host.

i guess i should complain, its only three steps. but i was wondering
if anyone knew of a better way to do this?

or any comments on navigation systems? i have:
-75 unix/linux hosts
-25 switches
-10 routers

and I probably add or remove one or two devices a day

thanks
BM
