[mrtg] RRDTool on Darwin 10.3.9

Hello all. I believe I have rrdtool installed on my Darwin 10.3.9. If 
I do a which rrdtool:
/opt/local/bin/rrdtool

The problem is when I run a mailgraph.pl script to graph postfix 
mail, I get in my error logs:

Can't locate RRDs.pm in @INC (@INC contains: ....

Googling this error, someone suggested to add a line use libs and put 
in the path of this file, which I did, but now get

Can't locate libs.pm in @INC

This file is nowhere on my system.

Any ideas what I'm missing? Bad install of rrd tool?
