I think you want to look at the "logscale" option:
Options[_]: bits,growright,logscale,printrouter,pngdate

Pretty new to all this, so I could be totally wrong, but look at the
<http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/mrtg/mrtg-reference.html> for
logscale
