If you want to get a graph of your broadcast/multicast traffic, you
can use the SNMP MIB-2 object "ifInNUcastPkts".

If you're looking for monitoring/alerting, then MRTG is probably not
the right tool.  The monitoring framework "Nagios"
(http://www.nagios.org/) works well for this.
