I am trying to ferret this out and on line 962 of cfgmaker 2.12.2 I see:

   my $if_description = "$if_snmp_descr $if_snmp_alias $if_cisco_descr";

And if I look at the output of the .cfg file made, the last variable
$if_cisco_descr has the data I used to see in the output of indexmaker.

Tobi, Is there a switch to use this data in the interface description for
Indexmaker? (I suspect it would be more of a switch in cfgmaker so that
$if_cisco_descr is what is populated in the Descr: field below:

### Interface 19 >> Descr: 'Serial9/2' | Name: 'Se9/2' | Ip:
'192.168.240.90' | Eth: '' ###

Nick
