[mrtg] Re: version 3 example mrtg.cfg file

Hi, I need to query a box that is running snmp version3. I need an
example of the form so I can write the proper mrtg.cfg file. Here is the
line in snmp version 1 format. Can someone please translate the
"public at i1200" part into snmp v3 format?

 

 

 

 

Target[Intrushield]:.1.3.6.1.4.1.8962.2.1.3.1.1.1.2&.1.3.6.1.4.1.8962.2.
1.3.1.1.1.2:public at i1200.abc.com

 

 

 

 

 

I am using MD5 and DES.  Snmpwalk would be like:

Snmpwalk -v3 -aMD5 -Agetsnmpinfo -lauthPriv -usnmpuser -xDES
-Xmysnmpinfo 10.2.2.42 .1.3.6.1.4.1.8962
