[mrtg] performance issue after perl module upgrade

Hello,

2 days ago I upgraded my Net::SNMP module (via CPAN). After that I
noticed that MRTG (v.2.13.2) was not running. Instead it
was complaining about the absence of INET6.pm:

2006-08-01 16:48:18 -- Can't locate IO/Socket/INET6.pm in @INC (@INC
contains: /usr/local/mrtg/bin/../lib/mrtg2 /usr/local/mrtg/bin
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl .) at
/usr/local/mrtg/bin/../lib/mrtg2/SNMP_Session.pm line 136.

After (force) installing the INET6 module I noticed that, the polling
cycle had gone up from around 4 minutes to almost 6 minutes!
After a couple of days I upgraded MRTG to v2.14.5 (latest) but no change.

Any ideas? Has anybody had the same issue?
