[mrtg] mrtg graphs background colors

Hello,
I wonder if I can change the background-color or the grid-color of the
graphs.
I found out how to manipulate html page colors and graph's forground-colors.
There isn't anything about background-/grid-colors in the manual (or i just
didn't find it...)
Do I have to change things in the sourcecode directly / recompile mrtg !??

I'd be glad if I could adjust the graphs to look good with my current
website design.
