[mrtg] Monitoring non unicast traffic on vlan's

-Hello,

    Until recently, I was able to monitor non-unicast packets in MRTG.
Specifically, I was monitoring ifInNUcastPks and ifOutNUcastPkts for
different VLAN's.
Then someone performed an snmp-server ifindex persist and all data on the
graphs went to zero. I ran mrtg from the CLI and recieved the following
errors:

ERROR: Target[cf03111_vlan1][_IN_] ' $target->[0]{$mode} ' did not eval
into defined data
ERROR: Target[cf03111_vlan1][_OUT_] ' $target->[0]{$mode} ' did not eval
into defined data
ERROR: Target[cf224226_vlan96][_IN_] ' $target->[1]{$mode} ' did not eval
into defined data
ERROR: Target[cf224226_vlan96][_OUT_] ' $target->[1]{$mode} ' did not eval
into defined data
ERROR: Target[cf224226_vlan100][_IN_] ' $target->[2]{$mode} ' did not eval
into defined data
ERROR: Target[cf224226_vlan100][_OUT_] ' $target->[2]{$mode} ' did not eval
into defined data
ERROR: Target[cf224226_vlan198][_IN_] ' $target->[3]{$mode} ' did not eval
into defined data
ERROR: Target[cf224226_vlan198][_OUT_] ' $target->[3]{$mode} ' did not eval
into defined data

I did an snmpwalk from my workstation and discovered that the ifindex for
the VLAN interfaces were no longer listed when grepping for ifInNUcastPkts
(same for Out).

I disabled ifindex persistance but the problem remains. I know it isn't my
mrtg config; it was working fine. Has anyone ever run into this problem?
Any ideas?  Thanks.

-Chris Noyes
