Dear Sir,
  I am using SNMPv2. Configuration of the link is as follows:-

  Target[routers]: 1:public at 192.168.1.x:::::2 + 2:public at 192.168.1.x:::::2
+ 3:public at 192.168.1.x:::::2
MaxBytes[routers]: 125000000
Title[routers]: Total Speed for the Routers

  But it shows the traffic only upto 1 Gb. Whereas traffic of my link is more than 1Gb.
  So, plz help me. can you have any idea that how can i use SNMP v3.
  Thanks & Regards
  Reena

You need to use SNMPv2 or SNMPv3 because SNMPv1 only uses 16bit counters, which roll over in the polling window if you have 1Gb traffic. See the MRTG manual for how to specify SNMPv2 – you add ‘:::::2’ to the end of the Target definition.

    Dear all,

    Thanks Eric, Thanks Daniel . Now its working properly with snmp v2 . problem was in MaxBytes setting. By MaxBytes setting 125000000 i can get traffic upto 1000 megabits.

    MaxBytes[routers]: 125000000

    One thing more, we can aggregate more than 5 interfaces.

    Now can anybody suggest me how to get more than 1000 megabits traffic on the link? Is it only depend on MaxBytes setting or i have to do some more configuration. what will be MaxBytes setting?

    Thanks in advance

Reena,

In addition to what Daniel stated I jut wanted to add - Are you sure
the MaxBytes setting is correct? 125000000 is only 1000 megabits or
depending on how your conversion (kibi vs kilo) 953 megabits.
