[mrtg] Not Connecting

You are not able to collect the SNMP data from the device you are
monitoring.  Possible causes for this could be -

1. Incorrect SNMP community string

2. Firewall in the way blocking query

3. Device access permissions do not allow your IP to make SNMP queries

4. Network congestion is blocking UDP traffic

5. Remote device does not have SNMP agent installed or active

6. Remote device SNMP agent only supports SNMPv2 or v3

7. Network issue (no route to host, for example)

 

Most likely cause is 1 or 3, followed by 2 or 5.  Hope this helps...

What am I doing wrong.  This is running on a windows machine, Your
assitance is greatly appreciated.
