This would be true for normal MRTG; however, if using the routers2
frontend (which pre-dates the kMG option) then you should instead use
the "routers.cgi*Options[]: fixunit" option to remove the use of kMG
prefixes, and routers2 does not support the kMG directive.  

 

There also exists a "routers.cgi*FixUnit[]: n" to fix the exponent to a
certain number - eg, 3 to get it in K.
