[mrtg] how to have fix value in mrtg output

It may be a silly question, but why not read the RRD files directly?
This can be done either from Perl or from shell using the rrdtool
functionality, and you get the raw numbers.

Of course, if you're not using the RRDTool as the backend, you can still
read the .log files directly, although its harder.  Or is the MRTG
you're trying to pull the data from not on the same host?

If you have the routers2 frontend installed (with MRTG and RRDTool) then
it has a CSV export mode which would do what you're after remotely with
less trouble.
