[mrtg] how do make a 2-years graph also?

If you are using the later version (2.18b3 or later) of routers2 for a
frontend, and RRDTool as your backend, then this is already done for
you.  See the 'Extended' options in the Styles menu.  However, it does
depend on your RRD (or log) database having at least 730 datapoints.
You may need to extend the rrd database if this is not the case.

 

I think you will need to move to RRDTool in order to achieve this,
whether you use a custom graph generator, routers2 or another package to
display it.  Otherwise you'll need to modify the MRTG code to get it
from .log files, if it is possible at all.

Hello,

 

i have had a look into these .log files, and it seems there are data for
2 years stored.

 

By now, MRTG prints daily, weekly, monthly and yearly summaries. How can
i additionally generate a 2-years graph?
