[mrtg] cfgmaker [_] naming question

I am looking at changing my target IP address and would like to be able
to do this with cfgmaker but I only want to change the target and not
have the new cfg result in the creation of new rrd files for the
Is this possible with cfgmaker or would I have to edit my current cfg
files and make the changes manually.

The current IP's that I use with cfgmaker are my loopback addresses and
