Hi - I'm in a dead end:
I like to observe a BINTEC-router with mrtg.
I tried this:
#snmpwalk -v 3 -a MD5 -u read -A secretword -l authNoPriv 192.168.33.254
output:
SNMPv2-MIB::sysDescr.0 = STRING: X2302
SNMPv2-MIB::sysObjectID.0 = OID:
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.272.4.200.83.88.50.49.0.0
DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (678656500) 78 days,
13:09:25.00
SNMPv2-MIB::sysContact.0 = STRING: BINTEC
SNMPv2-MIB::sysName.0 = STRING: r01.quirlum.de
....list of the sensors...
o.k. - then this:
# cfgmaker read at 192.168.33.254:161::::3
output:
SNMP V3 requires a --username parameter as part of the User Security
ok. - cfgmaker know to use the protocol v3 - then this:
cfgmaker --username=`read` --authpassword=`secretword`
--authprotocol=`md5` 192.168.33.254:161::::3
output: nothing - no reaction...
Thanks!- Uve Hayden
