[mrtg] Cisco ASA 5510 & mrtg 2.16.2

My Cisco ASA 5510s (running 7.2(4) software) are behaving strangely in MRTG.
They only report correct in/out traffic when I'm logged in to them %-| When
not logged in they report a flat 52.0 bits/s out, and 20.0 bits/s in!

Does anyone else have any strange problems like this? If so, how do you
fix/workaround it?
