[mrtg] MRTG/RRD RPM bundle for UNIX...?

Since the MRTG Bundle made by Open Innovations (http://www.openinnovations.com/mrtgbundle.html) is so popular with Windows people - despite being several years out of date - I thought the Linux world deserved something similar (and I prefer to manage things via RPM)

The problem with this is that there are so many different flavours to support, and some things are already provided.

So, I focussed on RedHat Enterprise Linux 5. RPM philosophy is to have separate RPMs for separate applications, and not to reinvent the wheel, so...

Redhat already comes with an MRTG RPM - so check (unfortunately it is v2.14, not 2.16, but hey...)
Dag Weiners provides the RRDTool and RRDTool-perl RPMs, so check (even v1.3.6 is available, i386 and x86_64!)

I've added an mrtg-tools RPM, which makes the RedHat MRTG installation default to RRDTool mode, adds a special cfgmaker builder, some cfgmaker templates, and MRTG data collation templates.

I've also packaged Routers2 as an RPM conforming (mostly) to RedHat installation standards that depends on mrtg, rrdtool, and so on.

So, in theory, you should be able to install:

Mrtg, perl, apache (from normal Redhat repository)
Rrdtool, rrdtool-perl (from Dag Wieners' repository)
Mrtg-tools, routers2 (my packages)

...and have a fully working MRTG/RRD/Routers2 system!

Anyone want to try it? It works on my system but everyone elses is different. I also don't know how well it would work with something like Fedora.

I'd also like to hear back if people think this would be useful - I've primarily made it so as to be able to better support our MRTG cluster here, but the rest of the world is welcome to benefit from it too.
