[mrtg] Problem with Bandwidth on nexus 5010 switch

 Turned out to require a little of both to fix the issue also have to update to OS on the nexus 5010.

If you have 10Gbps interfaces then you should use SNMPv2; this is using SNMPv1.  Add the option --snmp-options=:::::2 as your first option to cfgmaker, and make sure SNMPv2 is enabled on the device.

Another possibility is that the device is reporting an incorrect speed for the interfaces in which case you'll need to fix it manually in the config files.
