[mrtg] counting dhcp leases

Hi all I'm looking for advice on what tools to use to track/count (and 
graph :) the use of our dhcp pools.

So far I've run across dhcpd-snmp[1] which seems to be a bolt on to 
the net-snmp applications which should do this. However, I've also 
read where this is very slow to compute the numbers.

Any advice on other tools out there?
