Hi,Did you try to run mrtg with logging enabled? it can help you in this kind of situations.
When I faced this issue all I did was deleting the meta data and the graph was back to normalif logging doesnt gives a clue try to delete the .meta files in graph directory, warning you may  loose your  old graphs if not backed up.
