[mrtg] newbie cannot get any stats

Ok.

I change now the cfgmaker from ./cfgmaker --global 'WorkDir: /var/www/html/mrtg/stats' --global 'Options[_]: bits,growright' --output /var/www/html/mrtg/cfg/mrtg.cfg 2:public at x.x.x.x
To ./cfgmaker --global 'WorkDir: /var/www/html/mrtg/stats' --global 'Options[_]: bits,growright' --snmp-options=:::::2 --output /var/www/html/mrtg/cfg/mrtg.cfg public at x.x.x.x

And if I ran now I get the stats. I thought this is the syntax for snmp v2 2:public at x.x.x.x

Sometimes people seem to think they install mrtg and can expect output right away. After some time, they look again and it is working without change. That's why I asked.

Please look in the directory where MRTG is writing its logfiles.
Copy the first 4 lines of each logfile here.
