Most likely you are monitoring something that is not a counter.
The logfile is not deleted, it is updated.
Read the documentation and focus on ABSOLUTE, GAUGE and COUNTER values.

BTW,
you don't need to send so much of your logfiles. A couple of lines will
usually do and if not, we could always ask for them.
