You may want to learn this before you try to use it. There are several newsgroups/websites/other_resources available. > I cannot get the information of my router (or even my NT server). > Can anyone please tell me how can I get the information of my router (or > even my NT server). ? I am trying to use cfgmaker to get the information > but it comes back with SNMP error. Connection refused! > Most likely the community string is not "public" but something else, or, the device is not snmp enabled. Look in the mail archive for several posts on this subject. For NT there is a beginners guide available. The windos help files should also provide assistance. Last but not least: you don't always need snmp to use mrtg. You could use the external program interface to check out mrtg. It may be wise to do this only after you've played with the basic stuff (and therefore know about snmp).
