The 3600's have temps that are a 3 stage, OK, WARNING, CRITICAL set. The 4xxx's may do the same. The 72xx's for sure guve inlet and outlet temps. Try a "show env" on the console of the router. If it shows you the temperatures, then you can probably get them via SNMP. Sorry I don't have the URL, and I am by no means positive that I am correct, but you may want to make sure. If I am wrong, you may be able to set up an application that telnet's to the router and issues the proper command, and parses the return. -Tim temp oid's are (typically): inlet: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3.1.3.1 oxhaust: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3.1.3.3 On Mon Oct 23, 2000 at 05:26:29PM -0700, John McKay wrote: > > nope.... need to get into 7000 (some) class routers... believe then, they > are an option. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: > To: > Sent: Monday, October 23, 2000 2:43 AM > Subject: [mrtg] Is there Temperature OID of cisco router 4000. > > > > > > hi: > > > > Is there Temperature OID for cisco router 4000 which I could use in > > mrtg? > > > > Benny. > > > > > > -- > > Unsubscribe mailto:mrtg-request@list.ee.ethz.ch?subject=unsubscribe > > Archive http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~slist/mrtg > > FAQ http://faq.mrtg.org Homepage http://www.mrtg.org > > WebAdmin http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~slist/lsg2.cgi > > > > > -- > Unsubscribe mailto:mrtg-request@list.ee.ethz.ch?subject=unsubscribe > Archive http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~slist/mrtg > FAQ http://faq.mrtg.org Homepage http://www.mrtg.org > WebAdmin http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~slist/lsg2.cgi > -- Timothy Kennedy Network Operations Manager YellowBrix, Inc. tkennedy@yellowbrix.com Cell: 703-216-5957 -- Binary/unsupported file stripped by Listar -- -- Err : No filename to use for decode, file stripped. -- Type: application/pgp-signature -- Unsubscribe mailto:mrtg-request@list.ee.ethz.ch?subject=unsubscribe Archive http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~slist/mrtg FAQ http://faq.mrtg.org Homepage http://www.mrtg.org WebAdmin http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~slist/lsg2.cgi
