color=#000080> “find / -name *.log –exec rm {} \;” will delete all .log files.
In my case, only few of them get deleted...Seems to me, it is either a disk
failure or Os problem that is causing those files to get deleted, or mrtg is
somehow delete my log file (also in the mean time .old file also gets
deleted)</FONT></FONT></SPAN></DIV>

periodic cronjobs running on your server that look for (and delete) any and all
*.log files? If so, they’d be deleted, and the next run of MRTG would

Central Time (GMT+6) I started havind some of my .log files started to be
reset without my intention. Is there a reason for that? I assumed first because
my .log file size reaches a limit but some of the .log files arent't even 100K
