files, and MRTG runs automatically every 5 minutes, then 5min after they are
deleted the next run of MRTG will re-create them (empty). If you also lose the
*.old files then my guessis you have some over-zealous cleanup script running
that deletes both *.log and *.old throughout the filesystem. Check your
periodic jobs that run around midnight. This problem has occurred before for
other users and been caused by this.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

deleted...Seems to me, it is either a disk failure or Os problem that is
causing those files to get deleted, or mrtg is somehow delete my log file (also
