Folks,

The double free security problem with zlib 1.1.3 has
prompted me to release rrdtool 1.0.34 which contains
the latest version of zlib ... along with the following
bugfixes listed below ...

the latest rrdtool is available from

  * test if compiler perl wants to use for building its modules is
available on the system
  * zlib wants to be linked with -fpic on HPUX or it breaks ...
