Then maybe you will include this patch?

It makes contrib/log2rrd/log2rrd.pl use the perl configure found,
instead of the hard-coded "/usr/local/bin/perl". (It's against 1.0.6)

I believe I've sent it before, but can't remember seeing any response,
and it is not in 1.0.6.

I've also made a rpm available at
ftp://ftp.vestdata.no/pub/linux/rrdtool.
