[rrd-developers] SQL database table visualization for RRDTool

I remember seeing a pointer somewhere for patches to make RRDtool work with
(maybe Oracle) database. I'm not that interested in the update side since
that's quite straightforward but being able to effectively (cgi-bin/mod_perl based)
do plots from data in database tables. I'm looking to avoid writing my own stuff
to interface with the GD library.

Thoughts?
