Cool idea ... sure there is interest ... as for the release plan,
the next step will be an 1.1.x development series ala Linux

My plan is to bring out 1.0.30 (stable 1.0.29 + fixes) and then
create 1.1.x with the aberrant patch as the first big modification
... I will have this in cvs so it will be simpler to handle it all
and I will be able to provide regular snapshots.

 | FYI, I do intending on synching the aberrant behavior detection patch with
 | the latest rrdtool-1.0.x release at some point, but I am not certain I will
 | synch it with the pending 1.0.29 release (depends on how long 1.0.29 remains
 | the 'current' release).

the 'current' will be 1.0.30 and I hope it will be the last 1.0.30
