[rrd-developers] Sub-second precision

I watched a short thread last week or so about sub-second precision 
options in RRDTool and was wondering if there are plans to support this 
kind of thing more officially.  I'd like to track momentary bandwidth 
usage in certain cases for tracking Linux Quality of Service and 
Traffic Control behaviour, for example.
