[rrd-developers] RRDtools w/ MySQL backend

Has anyone developed a script that will take SNMP data, store it in a MySQL
database and then allow detailed querries of actual traffic for extended
periods of time? I understand that the RRDTool database only holds detailed
traffic for one day. Is there a way to extend this timeframe? I would like
to be able to go back to whatever day I want and show a graph for the data
at that particular time.
