I am compiling new RRDToolv1.2.11 on a sparc (Solaris 8) machine.  I am
just looking for some resolutions of the problem that I have reported
:). However, the same version source were successfully installed under
Solaris-10(x86) and Linux(x86) succesfully and I am able to run the
scripts easily.
I was just trying to figure it out if there were any gotchas hidden in
the build process under sparc.I also noticed that the symbol "__sincos"
was from libart_lgpl library.(Please see the other thread which I have
sent).

as template structure to build the RRDTool, though I cannot say
thoroughly that I followed the exact procedures .

I am facing some problems with the scripts under new RRDTool . I have
installed the new RRDTool-1.2.11 under my system and used the following
library versions.

Compiler : Studio-10
Platform : Sparc
Libart   : libart-2.0
Freetype : freetype2
Cgilib   : cgilib v0.5
Zlib     : libz.1.1.4 

When I run the sample script provided in the RRD package, for example
stripes.pl. I get the following error :
