Indeed, looking for a separator not only is possible but also is
quite easy to implement.

Will people understand they cannot have vnames like "EQ" or should
this be documented somewhere?

Maybe recommend not using only capitals for vnames is in order, to
avoid collisions between existing names and future enhancements of
the RPN parser?
