[rrd-developers] building static binaries and perl-modules?

Hi Hanno,

try following the
http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool/doc/rrdbuild.en.html instructions.
There are even some solaris hints, the -R option is especially
important

try going for the non-static build, even when installed in a
non-system location, things should work out fine ...
