[rrd-developers] threaded support for rrdcached calls

Hi Guys

I was looking through the 1.4rc2 and I don't see a thread safe call to  
rrd_update that supports rrdcached.  Should I be calling rrdc_update  
directly in my code and is that thread safe?  I haven't found much  
documentation about the rrd_client.c and if any of the functions in  
there are thread safe.
