Hi,

I have now cloned the master branch at github and updated the patches.
However, it seems like much of the code there is old, referring to
version 1.4.3 from 2010. According to the web pages the latest stable
version is 1.4.8 from May 2013 and experimental is at 1.5. Also, SVN
seems to be used for development, not git, I'm confused.
