[rrd-users] Getting daily max/averages?

Is there an easy way to get the AVERAGE and MAX values from an rrd
database? I am using mrtg+rrd and before I was pulling the data from the
html pages that MRTG generated, but since MRTG does not do the generation
anymore I need to get that data another way.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
