I installed rrdtool 1.0.8 on an Alpha running Digital UNIX 4.0D.
I can create RRDs Ok, and fetch shows good data points. When I
generate graphs they are always flat lines? Here is a fetch
and a graph sample.
root at ncdev0> rrdtool fetch ncdev0.la.rrd AVERAGE --start 949605900 --end
949609200
                       la

 949605900: 500.63
 949606200: 511.80
 949606500: 485.35
 949606800: 495.01
 949607100: 495.01
 949607400: 501.82
 949607700: 422.08
 949608000: 458.25
 949608300: 458.25
 949608600: 610.52
 949608900: 549.00
 949609200: 516.19

root at ncdev0> rrdtool graph test.gif --start 949605900 --end 949609200 \
> DEF:myline=ncdev0.la.rrd:la:AVERAGE LINE2:myline#FF0000
Min: 506.68 Max: 516.92 MagFactor: -2.03
495x155

This generates a graph with no line. If I add an upper and lower limit I
get
a flat line at aprox. 511. Where is the MagFactor coming from? Why are my
graphs flat?

Thanks for any suggestions.
