[rrd-users] querying structure in RRD files?

Is there a way to query the structure of an RRD file?  That is to say, can
I retreive the DS and RRA definitions that were used to create the RRD
file?

Also is there a command analogous to 'rrdtool last' that returns the first
real entry in the rrd file?
