[rrd-users] RRD tool can it store strings

Quick question

Can I use RRD tool to store and display string values from snmp gets.
I would like to display uptime in the form Days Hours Minutes as well as description strings.
I know uptime is getable as 100th of a second but Cisco also supplies it in the Days Hours Minutes Seconds form.
Can this be utilized if so how?
