I have compiled rrdtool-1.0.10 on HPUX 10.20 w/ gcc-2.95.1 and perl
5.005_03. I have never used the perl programs that come with rrd
though. The rrdtool part compiled just fine for me. I tried gnu-make
test in perl-shared and i also got the errors that you did?
Also, I am unable to use the graph function of rrdtool with v. 1.0.10 i
had to go back to using v. 1.0.7 to get graphing to work without core
dumps. Another oddity that i have noticed is that my graphs on my
D310's (and other D class servers) are perfect but when the same
programs are run on a K570 and a K200 the graphs do not stay within my
defined upper limit, in my case 100 (for CPU usage). I would be
interested to hear how rrdtool works out for you on HPUX and HP
hardware... Please let me know if you any similar problems.
