Hi,
when I am running the configuration of rrdtool
the following "errors" occur
(I am using rdtool-1.0.25 on HP-UX 10.20 using
perl v5.6.0 , gcc version 2.8.1 )
configure
checking for working aclocal... missing
checking for working autoconf... missing
checking for working automake... missing
checking for working autoheader... missing
checking for working makeinfo... missing
checking for tclConfig.sh in ... no
configure: warning: tclConfig.sh not found - Tcl interface won't be built
checking whether the C compiler (gcc ) is a cross-compiler... no
checking whether gcc accepts -g... (cached) no
checking if the linker

checking for ieeefp.h... (cached) no
checking for acos... (cached) no
checking for fpclass... (cached) no
checking for class... (cached) no
checking for fp_class... (cached) no
Now although make does run through the end but does have errors I can still
install the product
The problem arises when I am using an application in Big Brother called
larrd-0.36
Parameter to use lib must be directory, not file at
/home/bb14b/bb14b/ext/larrd/bbnet-larrd.pl line 19
Can't locate RRDs.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/local/rrdtool-1.0.25/lib/perl
/opt/perl5/lib/5.6.0/PA-RISC1.1
/opt/perl5/lib/5.6.0 /opt/perl5/lib/site_perl/5.6.0/PA-RISC1.1
/opt/perl5/lib/site_perl/5.6.0 /opt/perl5/lib/site_perl .)
at /home/bb14b/bb14b/ext/larrd/bbnet-larrd.pl line 20.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /home/bb14b/bb14b/ext/larrd/bbnet-larrd.pl
line 20.
The problem is that my configuration is set to
$ENV{'RRDPM'}="/usr/local/rrdtool-1.0.25/lib/perl";
which is where I put the rrdtool
is this a problem with my configuration of my rrdtool ???
I will summarise any answers I get,
Tony.
