[rrd-users] compiling problem for 1.0.25

Hi,
I am trying to compile rrdtool on HP-UX 10.20
and getting this error

cd perl-shared && make
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/rrdtool-1.0.25/perl-shared'
LD_RUN_PATH="" ld -o blib/arch/auto/RRDs/RRDs.sl  -b -s -a shared RRDs.o
-L../src/.libs/ -lrrd_private -lm
ld: Can't find library for -lrrd_private
make[2]: *** [blib/arch/auto/RRDs/RRDs.sl] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/rrdtool-1.0.25/perl-shared'
make[1]: *** [perl_shared] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/rrdtool-1.0.25'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1


I have seen  Dave Plonka and Trang Tan's e-mails on using the links but
it seems to have no effect .....

This is what my " find . -name *private* "  outputs

./src/.libs/librrd_private.la
./src/.libs/librrd_private.a
./src/librrd_private.la

This is getting a tad frustrating and I'm sure its a good product if I ever got
to compile it  ... please help
