[rrd-users] binary value

Hello, 

I want to fetch binary value, 0 and 1 (and NaN, if any)
At least in the small granular base, I want to keep those
binary value. How can I do ?

Can you give us the matemetical formula applied to consolidate
the value using AVERAGE, LAST, MIN, MAX. It seems that rrdtool
aply an average calculus, even on the small granular base. 
What config directive can I use to avoid this.
