The first example from the tutorial:
bash-2.04$ rrdtool create test.rrd --start 920804400 DS:speed:COUNTER:600:U:U RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1:24 RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:6:10
ERROR: can't parse argument '--start'
And when I gave up on that and just started trying basic commands on my own:
bash-2.04$ rrdtool update  status.rrd -t foo N:0
ERROR: expected 1 data source readings (got 0) from -t:...
I'm stumped, every time I try to do something that seems fairly
straightforward I get these impenetrable error messages. I have no idea what's
wrong in either case above.
