[rrd-users] how use update correctly

I need to manipulate some date in my rrd file.

First I've verified when wrong data has occurred with:

rrdtool fetch /app/rrd_report/jetftp.rrd MAX -s -50h -e -50h

which returns:

   small big

  972304800: 2.6296803002e+00 1.5782153703e-01
  972305400: 4.8515556534e-01 9.9805553928e-02

then I've tried to force 2.6296803002e+00 (small) value occured at
972304800 absolute time, to some that is correct for my purpose, with:

  rrdtool update /app/rrd_report/jetftp.rrd 972304800:52.33:147.99

but rrd return an error:

ERROR: illegal attempt to update using time 972304800 when last
update time is 972484658 (minimum one second step)

So it's supposed that I'm wrong, then which is the correct way ?

Thanks in advance.

Paolo.
