[rrd-users] Compiling problems on Solaris 8/SPARC

Hi,

I'm trying to compile rrdtool 1.0.26 on a Solaris 8/SPARC. I get the
"unrecgoznied -KPIC option" error, which I the solution in the archives would
be to use gcc. However, I am using gcc, what am I missing here?
